Please help support the BASIS Prescott Booster Club by becoming a member. Membership has the following advantages:

  • Be an active participant in supporting the school's financial goals, including ATF (Annual Teacher Fund) fundraisers
  • Vote to help steer the mission of the Club
  • Volunteer in fun Booster Club-based activities
  • Membership fee is tax deductible as a donation to a 501(c)(3) organization

BASIS Prescott Boosters is a non-profit organization dedicated to the support of the BASIS Prescott School through fundraising and volunteerism. Members meet once per month at the BASIS Prescott School to discuss ways to help raise money to support our students and teachers.

Membership costs choices:

  • Basic family is $52 per school year and includes the whole family.
  • All Inclusive is $104 per child and includes all entry fees for all Booster functions
  • Business is $104 which includes your name on a banner at Booster events.

Q: What is the mission of the Boosters?

A: We raise money to assist in the operation of the BASIS Prescott School and we do this to the end that we might enhance the education our children receive.


Q: What kind of organization is the Boosters?

A: We are a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization. This means that all donations are tax deductible.


Q: When does the Booster Club meet?

A: We have three types of meetings; (i) Regular Meetings, held on the 3rd Wednesday of every other month at 6 pm at the BASIS Prescott School; (ii) Special Meetings, are Board meetings held each Thursday by teleconference to enable us to make the decisions necessary to facilitate our mission; (3) Annual Meeting, the charter mandates this meeting the Spring of each year.


Q: How can I keep informed about the Boosters?

A: We publish information through this website,, where people can join, make contributions online, read the minutes of our meetings and retrieve financial reports. In addition, the Booster delivers a monthly newsletter to the Members by email. Finally, you can call or email any of the Board Members with your questions, suggestions and comments.


Q: What is our current bank balance?

A: As of our Special Board Meeting held by conference call on October 2, 2014, our gross balance of funds was approximately $5,372. You can retrieve financial reports from the website.


Q: What is our fundraising goal for the 2014-15 school year?

A: $250,000


Q: How are funds being can you or others contribute?

A: We publish Board approved projects on the website and you can simply select the project you like and make a contribution on line.


Q: How does someone become a Booster Club Member?

A: It's easy and affordable, just follow the instructions at the top of this page.


Q: How can you get involved to help us reach our goal?

A: In short, volunteer, make yourself available, contribute financially, become a Committee Chairperson. Without you we will not reach our objectives.


Q: How do I get a fundraising project approved?

A: Each fundraising project is submitted to the Board of Directors, reviewed and approved by using our Request for Board Approval Form, attached here.


Q: Can I chaperone events and work to help raise funds?

A: Yes, absolutely! Not everyone can serve as a Chairperson, but almost everyone can attend events as a helper/chaperone. Our chaperone's are asked to sign our policy and waiver form and attend a short orientation, typically conducted before the event starts. Our chaperone policy and authorization form can be downloaded from the website.


Q: How can you get involved to help us reach our goal?

A: In short, serve and donate. How you serve and how much you can donate is entirely up to you, but we appreciate everything you can do.


Q: What are the most immediate needs the Booster Club has?

A: Glad you asked!  Here is a short list:

  • Social Events Chairperson
  • Technology Chairperson
  • Someone to assist with the Fry's and Safeway discount programs
  •  Golf Tournament Fundraiser assistance
